Peter Jennings Project awards announced

Posted on January 20, 2011

We like good news. Today, the late, award-winning TV news anchor Peter Jennings was posthumously inducted into the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Hall of Fame. Not by coincidence, The National Constitution Center announced its Peter Jennings Project awards honoring 36 journalists and six collegiate fellows from around the world. According to the Poynter Institute, “the annual Peter Jennings Project conference gives journalists the opportunity to explore constitutional dimensions in the news today and acquire a deeper understanding of the Constitution and its important role in the lives of all Americans.” The honorees will participate in the conference in Philadelphia March 4-6.
