Battle Creek paper moving to smaller space after job cuts

Posted on January 21, 2011

The Battle Creek Enquirer in Battle Creek, Mich., will be moving to a new location in March. The newspaper’s new home is a 107-year-old building in downtown Battle Creek that is owned by the federal government. The paper’s current site has too much excess space after a series of job cuts left the staffing at only 48 employees. The move should be complete March 14.
