TuneTug lets your party guests choose the music from Spotify or iTunes

Posted on December 7, 2011

You’re having a party and plan to use your iTunes library and/or Spotify Premium account playlists for the background music. However, you don’t know what to play. Well, it seems your solution might be found with a new app called TuneTug. According to the GIGaom.com article, TuneTug allows hosts to pick up to 600 potential party songs and put them into the app’s playlist. When guests log on to TuneTug and (using the GPS feature) pick the party they are attending, they can vote songs up or down on the playlist. If using Spotify, guests can add songs and hosts always have the choice to veto picks and set up a password for the playlists. TuneTug is currently a free download for IOS and may make party DJing easier than in the past.
