Top 10 social media & PR predictions for 2012

Posted on December 13, 2011

We always love these lists of predictions that come out at the end of every year. Some of them are insightful and others are just downright obvious. We’re still deciding where some of these items on this list of social media and public relations predictions for 2012 fall. The list was created by Affect, a social media and PR company focusing on technology, and was published by the Wall Street Journal’s MarketWatch. Among some of the items include the prediction that journalists won’t be pitched stories via email anymore but rather through 140-character posts on Twitter (insightful) and that celebrities, sex and scandals on social media will still make news (obvious). Our favorite prediction is that CEOs will have to become journalists, if it hasn’t already happened. See the full list here.
