Feedback Friday: What do you think of Facebook’s Timeline feature?

Posted on December 16, 2011

As we noted on our site yesterday, Facebook users only have a week to clean up their archives on the social media site before it all becomes public with the new Timeline feature. We think it depends on how you look at it. Are you the same person and in the same profession as you were when you joined Facebook? If not, you may want to go back and check what the network has on your timeline. There may be a few posts (or months’ worth of posts) you might want to delete before this coming Thursday. The Timeline feature is only available on mobile for Android so far but you can check it out on the desktop any time. If you haven’t seen your Timeline yet, we recommend you do before time runs out and it’s all public. To do so, log in to Facebook on one tab in your browser and then open another. Click this link and scroll down to the bottom to enable your Timeline. Make sure you don’t choose the option to make your Timeline public until you have had a chance to review it. Then, we’d appreciate it if you came back and participated in our poll below. Please leave comments too. We aren’t all that impressed with this feature; especially because of the privacy issues.
